Short description of important scientific result: On the basis of field and laboratory studies there were revealed features of restoration and self-purification in water objects of different types. Displaying self purification opportunity of waters of the Kuibyshev reservoire using bivalves. For oil-contaminated rivers there were found the recovery sequence of zoobentos species communities after application recovery measures. The research results were used for projects of cleaning lakes and small rivers.
