I was born in 1944 in the family of a military man in Kazan (maiden name Steinberg). I finished a 7-year general education school in Pavlodar with honours in 1958. Then, I entered a Construction College in the same city and studied Industrial and Civil Construction. After my father’s demobilization, our family moved to Kazan and I continued my studies at Kazan Construction College, which I graduated in 1962. Afterwards I was appointed to construction combine ЖБИ-1 in Kazan as a control officer of the 6th category.
At the same time I entered Kazan State University evening department of mechanics and mathematics. I was transferred to a full-time course in September of 1963, which I graduated in 1967 as a specialist in Mathematics . Numerical mathematics. I had taken part in social work during the whole period of my university studies. I was accepted to CPSU while studying my fourth year and took part in construction works of KSU. I was appointed as an assistant to the department of General Mathematics of Mechanical Mathematics, where I worked until 1972, when I entered full time post graduate course of Political Economics department (October 1972-October 1975). After the graduation I was appointed as a senior lecturer of General mathematics department. Then, I was appointed as the deputy of the dean of KSU Department of Mechanics and Mathematics in January 1976. I passed the PhD defense in economics in April of the same year in the Board of N.I. Lobachevski Gorkiy State University about “Interrelation of concentration and specialization processes in industry”. State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of USSR appointed me with the title of PhD in economical sciences on the 1st December of 1976. I was transferred as a senior lecturer to the department of Political economics with exemption from the deputy of the mechanical mathematics department dean duties in 1981. I was transferred to the position of an assistant professor at Political economics department of KSU in 1985, whereas in March of 1989 I was assigned with the title of the Associate Professor in Political Economics by the State Committee of Public Education of USSR. I haven’t been a member of any political party after the fall of the Soviet Union.
I played an active role in establishing the Department of Economics in 1992 and had worked as the dean deputy of this department from 1993 until 2001.
After the opening of Higher School of Management and Business at KSU in 1994 I had worked there as the deputy of the Director in Education from the establishment until 2002.
After the decision of Academic Board of KSU about the experimental integration of Economics Department in the transfer of a higher school into Bolognese education system, I combined the duties of associate professor and senior tutor until the establishment of Kazan (Privolzshskiy) Federal University on the base of KSU.
I had fulfilled the duties of the associate professor and the director of HSMB from 2010 until 2011; and with the duties of the deputy director of the Institute of Continuous Education of KFU in Finance and Economics until 2014.
At the moment I’m the associate professor of Economic Theory at General Economics Department in the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance.
