Short description of important scientific result: Slepak Z.M. Modern gravity prospecting techniques for geological studies and oil exploration. Kazan Federal University Press, Kazan, 2015
The monograph presents the theoretical basis and case studies of gravity prospecting. The monograph ? Z.M. SLepak. Gravity Prospecting for oilfields identification? (2019) deals with the theory and practice of solving petroleum geology problems by a gravimetric method. The method of geological and geophysical modeling (GGM), which consists in solving inverse problems for Bouguer anomalies on a quantitative level with the simultaneous creation of 2D and 3D density models of geological media and local forecasting objects, is presented. High geological effectiveness of the method was shown in identifying oil-bearing structures and studying the block structure of the crystalline basement. For geophysicists, geologists, oil industry research organizations, graduate students and students involved in field and laboratory research on oil issues.
