The Independent Attestative and Methodical Centre (IAMC, KFU) being a corporate member of the Association on coordination of the system of maintenance of ecological safety "Ekospecobrazovanie" (accreditation certificate  № IAMC -0607, 03.07.2009), was established  in 2009 on the basis of the educational centre "Ecology" of the Faculty of geography and ecology. 

The Independent Attestative and Methodical Centre within the implementation of the requirements of the nature protection legislation carries out training of heads and experts in following additional professional educational programmes:

• Maintenance of ecological safety for heads and experts of general economy management systems (72 hours);
• Maintenance of ecological safety for heads and experts of ecological services and systems of the ecological control (216 hours);
• Maintenance of ecological safety in work in the field of waste management (112 hours);
• Vocational training of persons for acquiring the right to work with the waste of danger class I-IV (according to the requirements of the Order of МПР of the Russian Federation №868, 18.12.2002) (112 hours);
• Environmental protection for transport agencies (72 hours);
• Ecological audit for the industrial enterprise (72 hours);
• Systems of ecological management according to the requirements of international standard ISO 14001:2004 (GOST RISO 14001:2007) (72 hours).

The forms of implementation of the additional educational programmes are part-time and of correspondence.
