The Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) was established in 2005. Its main function is to perform advanced training and retraining of the personnel, organize and develop the system of continuous education in KFU.

The Institute has the following objectives: creating conditions for harmonious integration of KFU into the existing market of educational services and international system of continuing education; developing the system of knowledge circulation; developing informational and scientific cooperation with academic and research institutions and organizations in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation and in the world; providing educational, research, teaching, methodological, consulting and other services to the customers.

The Institute was dissolved in 2016.
