Currently, the department of petroleum engineering carries on strong educational, scientific, and industrial activities on different domains including:

• Training of bachelor and master students with the major in 21.00.00 “Oil and gas”;
  
• Organization of the studying process according to the modern requirements of oil and gas industry;
  
• Conducting the lections of the leading specialists in oil industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia;
  
• Systematic interaction and work on industrial and research projects with following companies:
