- development of techniques the rapid determination of the degree of contamination of groundwater in various natural and man-made environment;
- the development of effective methods and technologies for treatment of waste (contaminated) water and water treatment;
- study of the structure and the anomalous properties of water, the effect of different types of water in the character of the various mineral and biological processes;
- modeling of formation of structure and properties of natural waters.
