Dear colleagues!
The IX All-Russian Lithological Conference is a continuation of the traditions of All-Russian Lithological meetings, which have been regularly held for several decades in different cities of the Russian Federation. Taking into account the new realities, there is a need to exchange the experience of research of scientists from different countries on lithological problems and on the search for sedimentary natural resources. It is planned to discuss the achievements and modern problems of lithology at the conference, exchange new data on the genesis of sedimentary rocks and methods of their investigation, consider the possibilities of new unconventional methods of sedimentation and correlation of sedimentary deposits, discuss the patterns of placement, prediction and search for the mineral exploration in sedimentary strata.
We invite you to take a part in the IX All-Russian lithological meeting "Lithology of sedimentary complexes of Eurasia and shelf areas", which will be held in the first decade of October 2019 in the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Kazan.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE OF THE CONFERENCE
September 30, 2019: Registration (8.00 - 10.00). Opening of the conference and plenary reports. After lunch: Visiting the museum and excursion to the laboratory complex of the Institute of geology and petroleum technologies.
October 1, 2019: Registration (8.00 - 10.00). Section reports (oral) and poster sessions. Friendly dinner.
October 2, 2019: Section reports (oral) and poster sessions.
October 3, 2019: Plenary reports, poster session, discussion and decision-making, closing of the conference.
DEADLINES
May 20, 2019 - the deadline for registration of participants on the site: https://kpfu.ru/geo/litology2019en and submit materials in electronic form at litology2019@gmail.com
PUBLICATION OF MATERIALS OF THE MEETING
The materials of the Meeting will be published by the beginning of the meeting in the form of a compendium and made available to all full-time participants in paper and electronic (on a flash drive) forms. Following the meeting, the Organizing Committee will decide on the publication of articles in English in the compendium, indexed in the WoS database. The rules for drafting articles will be communicated to the authors after the meeting.
FIELD TRIPS
In the period from September 25 to September 29, 2019 the organizing committee plans to conduct 2 field trips:
- Reef massifs (“shikhans”) and reference sections of the lower Permian and the Upper Carboniferous of the Pre-Ural downwarp (Republic of Bashkortostan);
Note: field trips will be conducted with the recruitment of groups of 15-20 participants.
