Gamma-resonant microscopic analysis of samples:
- Phase analysis of a Mössbauer elements (Fe, Sn, Eu) containing samples;
- Determination of the valence state of these elements, the configuration of the filling of electron shells (low- and high-spin states);
- Determination of the symmetry of the local environment of resonant atoms, the values of the gradients of electric fields and their orientations;
- Measurement of the Debye temperature and the force constants which determine the phonon spectrum of the phase under study;
- Determination of type of bond between resonant atom and ligands (ionic, covalent, metallic);
- Determination of the critical temperature (Curie and Neel temperature) and the magnetic moment of the resonant atom, type of magnetic ordering in magnetically ordered phases;
- Investigation of the relaxation properties of fine dispersed particles and nanoparticles, determination of particle size distribution, finding of the blocking temperature;
- Low- (2-295 К) and high-temperature (300-1000 K) Mössbauer spectroscopy;
- High-temperature Mössbauer measurements of samples in a controlled atmosphere (chemical reactions, catalysis, etc.);
- Gamma-resonance studies at high pressures (up to 35 GPa);
- Mössbauer studies in strong magnetic fields (up to 60 kOe);
- Mössbauer measurements on the conversion electrons of surface layers (including depth-selective measurements);
- Low-temperature Conversion-electron Mössbauer spectroscopy (90-295 К).
