He got acquainted with KFU’s infrastructure.
Early in the morning today, Mr. Borisov arrived to the Main Building and was welcomed by Rector Ilshat Gafurov. The guest listened to basic facts about KFU’s development and proceeded to see what has been done in engineering, cryptography, global positioning, robotics, and driverless transport.
Borisov’s lecture was dedicated to the development of the military-industrial complex in market conditions. A discussion with students ensued.
In particular, the talks touched upon the ever-growing importance of intellectual labor and research in industrial production. The students were also interested in career prospects. One of the latest initiatives – an opportunity to conduct conscription service in the so-called “research squadrons” – was also mentioned.
The meeting took longer than expected, which attests to the mutual interest.
