The ceremony was opened by Bulat Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. He wished the graduates new interesting projects in the future as certified developers who can change the IT industry.
"I think you are really lucky because you are graduates of a truly leading and leading IT institute. And now you are officially the IT elite of our republic and our country. Of course, first of all, I would like to thank the team of Kazan Federal University for the fact that from year to year we work together to create great specialists, great teams and great projects, both for science and for our entire IT industry. Many people start working and implementing their projects from the very first year. This is really a distinctive feature of ITIS. And now you're the ones who don't just write code, you're the ones who change the world, you're the ones who create technology and artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity. This is not just something that you are familiar with now, it is something that you will invest your strength, your minds, and how you will change the industry," - said Bulat Gabdrakhmanov, addressing the graduates.

"Your graduation is special. Firstly, your graduation takes place in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War. You are the great-grandchildren of the winners, and you should be the one to win and defend the interests of our Motherland in the near future. The UN also declared 2025 the year of quantum science and quantum technologies. Since 100 years ago, in 1925, several fundamental articles on quantum theory were published, the physical foundations of the hardware on which you are currently working were actually laid, and therefore this year is directly related to your work and I am sure that the knowledge and skills that you acquired during your studies, It will help you in the near future to master completely new fields of research, fields of knowledge, fields of application of information systems, as scientific and technological progress does not stand still, new systems are emerging., there are new principles of calculation, new principles of information processing," - Dmitry Tayursky wished from the stage.
ITIS Director Mikhail Abramsky thanked the graduates for their diligent studies and the guests of the ceremony for their support and active participation in the life of the institute.
"The leadership of the Ministry of Finance, university management, partner companies, graduates, students, teachers, staff, parents are present here. This is all our big family, at the expense of which ITIS are developing. It is impossible to imagine ITIS without some of these components. I am grateful to every graduate for the time you have given within the walls of our institute. I wish you to be, most importantly, happy people. Always remember that if what you do doesn't make you happy for some reason, then you can safely change it. You have every right and reason to do so. And at the same time, you have all the opportunities, just like graduates, of the most sought-after, the best specialty."- shared the director of ITIS.
The ceremony was also attended by the first director of ITIS, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Khasyanov. He appreciated the scale of this year's ceremony. A total of 237 bachelor's degrees and 63 master's degrees were awarded. This is the largest number of students who have graduated from ITIS in the 14 years of the institute's existence.
"Thank you very much for this celebration, indeed, there has never been such a grand graduation at ITIS, this is your merit, this is the merit of the entire ITIS team, Mikhail Mikhailovich Abramsky. ITIS, I think, gave us all a very good foundation for happiness, he taught us to learn. And the only thing that can be guaranteed for all of us in the future is constant change. Everything will change, and I believe that you are as ready as possible for this. I wish you all to break the industry, create something new and be happy," - Airat Khasyanov wished the graduates.
Happy graduates took to the stage that day not only to get their coveted diplomas, but also to remember stories from their lives that make them proud of themselves, their achievements and their classmates. And here are some of them that sounded from the stage in the game "I know ITIS", which were especially memorable and caused genuine emotions of the audience in the hall.
"Four years ago, when I was about to leave Egypt, I remember how we were all sitting together in our house, and my parents told me: 'We are proud of you, and we are confident that you will be able to become the best and fulfill your dream."It was an important moment for me because I knew they believed in me. I promised them: 'I will become one of the best and get a diploma with honors."It wasn't just words. I studied every day, despite the difficulties, because I knew who I was trying for. I remember how difficult it was for me to deal with one of the difficult topics in my first year of study. I often stayed up into the night to sort things out. It was difficult, but I continued, knowing that it was important for my goal. Today, I can proudly say, 'I have fulfilled my promise. I got a red diploma.'This is a dream that I've been working for for four years" - said Hossam Eid, a graduate of ITIS.
"During my university studies, I worked as a mentor at an online school, helping students prepare for the Unified State Exam in computer science. Some of my students later entered ITIS. And perhaps it is thanks to my advice to choose this university that today I see them among students, participants in creative events such as Freshman Day and Spring Day. It's inspiring to watch your students open up not only in their studies, but also in student life. And this is one of the things that I am really proud of: the opportunity to impart knowledge, inspire and meet my students no longer as schoolchildren, but as future colleagues." - said Valeria Slobodchikova, a graduate.
"In the 1st year, we decided to put on a dance number about Naruto for the Student Spring. We started rehearsing the dance even before the directors wrote the script. And then, on viewing, it turned out that the canvas would be about pirates and our number did not fit in there in any way. We were definitely not ready to change the number, and then the directors met us halfway and figured out how to tie the number into the script - according to the story, grandfather overheated in the sun and dreamed of our dance about Naruto. When we found this compromise, we got an unusual and creative storyline, and as a result, our institute took 1st place in a small group of institutes at the Studesna!" - recalled ITIS graduate Timur Khairullin.
There was a lot to be proud of in ITIS. At least I am proud of my self-control, because after the first lecture on matanalysis, I restrained myself and came to the second, and did not drop out. I'm proud of the number of people who came to the presentation today, it's impressive. To be honest, I thought about half of us wouldn't last beyond the first semester. I am proud that in the first year our academic group was recognized as the 3rd best group of KFU. I am proud that my preparation for the tic was not accompanied by a nervous tic. It so happened that he always passed exams easily, as if he were getting up from the wrong foot. I am proud that in the 2nd year one of the teachers asked me why I entered ITIS if I am not tech savvy. It's funny, because a month later I got a job as a developer at the company, and a year later I taught the guys the programming language. He motivated me. I am proud to have spent 4 years of wonderful student life in such a team. I'm really proud of the environment I'm in right now. Thanks to ITIS, I have formed a cool social circle and a number of qualities that I use in everyday life. The majority of the guys here are hardworking, achieve their goals, and constantly develop. Of course, we, and I in particular, grew up in such conditions: we looked up to each other, supported each other, and competed in various aspects. The competencies and soft skills that I developed at the university gave me the opportunity, I'm not afraid to say this: to live more freely; in my professional career, not to adjust, but to choose. I believe that university is not only about knowledge. It's about personal growth. Remember what you've learned, what connections you've made, what skills you've acquired, and how many cool moments you've had with the institute."
ITIS partners also came to congratulate the students at the ceremony. Mikhail Markov, Director of the T-Bank Regional Center, Volga Macroregion Shopping Center, Aizat Farkhutdinov, Technical Director of Technocracy, Mikhail Kim, Deputy General Director, Director of the BARS Group Production Business Center, Lilia Gainullova, Deputy General Director, HR Director of BARS Group, and an engineer-programmer of the Kontur company Ekaterina Chernova. Industry representatives advised graduates to constantly develop in their profession, be able to work in a team, and go beyond the usual. The partners thanked the institute for their long-term cooperation and personally each student who is already an employee of these companies. The T-Bank company awarded bachelor's degrees, who showed excellent results in research activities during their studies with special prizes.
The graduates and teachers did not leave without congratulations. Today, they recalled stories about their wards and said parting words. The ceremony was attended by Alexander Toshchev, Head of the Department of Digital Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Irina Golitsyna, Head of the Department of Software Engineering, Rustam Valiullin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Software Engineering, Curator of DevOps, Ilya Kosharsky, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Software Engineering, Head of Laboratory 42 at ITIS, Murad Hafizov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Video Game Development Industry, Ramil Safin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Intelligent Robotics, and Alexey Leukhin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Digital Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Technologies.

The awards were presented by Igor Semakov, Advisor to the CEO of Eidos Robotics.
After the presentation, the newly graduated bachelors and masters took to the stage to thank the institute and their parents for their support throughout their years of study at ITIS. For some of them, it was a brave experience, because studying, living and working away from their family is a special challenge. The geography of this year's graduates is very wide, in addition to students from different regions of Russia, students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, the Syrian Arab Republic, Vietnam, Colombia, Turkey and Ecuador graduated from ITIS.
"It's an insane joy, some kind of fulfillment, probably, the feeling of emptiness is slowly tightening up, because the realization comes that 4 years are over - the whole cultural mass, science, these gatherings inside the university, gatherings outside the university, it's all over. In fact, I am incredibly grateful that I chose ITIS four years ago. I am proud to hold this diploma now. In five years, I'll see myself as a tech leader. And now I'm doing everything for this, I'm already working as a middle developer" - Valentin Grachev, a graduate of ITIS.
"I found myself here. It's a pity to leave my institute, it's already a part of my life, there are a lot of good, cool acquaintances. Mikhail Mikhailovich is the best example of a leader that can be. Evgenia Alexandrovna (Dean's Office employee)I will miss her very much. She always spoke positively about me and always helped me. The teaching staff at ITIS is the best, because each of them is a young, practicing engineer who knows his job and knows his business. I received the best education in the world thanks to KFU." - Davronbek Mamasoliev, graduate of ITIS.
"I had very cool student years, especially the first and second year. In general, they are very healthy, full of life. I met some interesting people. And living in a dorm is something very creative and wonderful. So yes, everything was very cool!" - ITIS graduate Lilia Nigmetzyanova.
