Academic Collaboration
Long years of close and fruitful scientific cooperation bind the Department of the theory of relativity and gravitation with Kazan Physical-Technical Institute named after Zavoisky (theoretical department of the Institute, which was led by Professor WH Kopvillem, at one time consisted almost exclusively of graduates of the theory of relativity and gravitation) with the Department of Theoretical Physics, Moscow State University, the Institute of Space Research and the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute Nuclear Research (Dubna), especially in the person of Professor NA Chernikov, who made along with Professor WH Kopvillemom a significant contribution to the development of the Kazan School of gravity.
