Thus, they are given much attention by classical universities where biomedicine plays a dominant role in the development of a wide range of disciplines. An important milestone in the development of KFU was the transformation of Biology and Soil Faculty into the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology and the opening of new educational programs.

Our goal is to provide a high-quality medical and biological education on the basis of fundamental knowledge and research according to modern European standards. It will enable our graduates to become specialists capable of understanding the causes and mechanisms of the processes occurring in nature and in the human body.
