The scope of research activities at the Department of Applied Ecology includes

theory and practice of evaluating and regulating:

- man-caused impact on environment;

- biological technology;

- ecological technology for recovering disturbed ecosystems;

- ecology of oil-contaminated territories and medical ecology.
