Professor Amirov R.R. leads a group of researchers and post-graduate students (Zyavkin Yu.I., Ziyatdinova A.B., Ibragimov Z.Z., Burilov E.A.), conducting researches of the reactions of complex formation of ions 3d and 4f-metals with various ligands in the water and microheterogeneous solutions of surfactants and polymers. They create new highrelaxing contrast agents based on metal-complexes for use in medical diagnostics (the method of magnetic-resonance tomography).
