V International Forum on Teacher Education. 2
Discussion club "Migrants and school"
In the framework of the V International Forum on Teacher Education IFTE in the showroom of the Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications of the KFU a discussion was held on the topic “Migrants and school”. Migration and the growth of cultural diversity in society pose new challenges for schools and teacher training systems around the world. In these conditions, it becomes necessary to develop new competencies for all participants in the educational process. In world practice, a wealth of experience has been accumulated in the training and adaptation of migrant students, while at the same time there remain significant risks of marginalization, discrimination and a low level of their education. The purpose of the event is to identify the best ways to integrate migrant children into new socio-cultural conditions by means of education.
