Mission:

- Formation of specialists, solving interdisciplinary research problems in the field of language, literature, culture, history and contemporary life of the peoples of the region (Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan), and the challenges of studying the historical and cultural heritage, the long history of the people of Tatarstan and the Volga region in contacts with Iranian-lingual culture, training of highly qualified teachers and researchers in the fields of language, literature, history and culture of Iran and the regions, within the area of ​​influence of the Persian language and Iranian culture;

- Development and implementation of basic and additional educational programs on topical issues of the history and culture of antiquity jointly with the institutions, faculties, departments and other academic units, in accordance with the teaching license of KFU;

- Research in various fields of Iranian studies, and related fields of the Humanities in the solution of social and cultural issues in the region.
