Department of territorial economics supervises baccalaureate in Regional Economy and Global Economy and masters' prgorams in Regional Economy and Territorial Management, Transition Management, and Industrial Management.
BACCALAUREATE
Regional Economy
Regional economies become more and more visible as a subject of contemporary economics. The major study disciplines are: regional economy and management, tax and fiscal systems of a region, project management, urban and regional development, urban planning and real estate investment. Internships are conducted at companies or institutions of probable future employment.
Both state-sponsored and fee-based education is available.
Global Economy
The focus is on the basics of international law, international economic organizations, NGOs, banks and stock exchanges. The studied subjects are: global economy, international economic relations, international monetary and credit relations, customs. Internships are conducted at companies or institutions of probable future employment.

MASTERS' PROGRAMS
Regional Economy and Terrritorial Management
The purpose of the master's program is to train high-level specialists for different departments of the government and management of regional and municipal levels, businesses and research institutions. The learning process involves professors from foreign universities, industry executives, officials of federal and regional governments.
Studied subjects: regional analysis, economic environment of business, contemporary problems of management, regional demography, regional planning and forecasting, regional policy framework, geoinformation monitoring of the regional system, environmental engineering areas.
Both state-sponsored and fee-based education is available.
Transition Management
The purpose of the master's program is to train professionals who are apt at making strategic decisions in risky and unstable conditions, solving structural problems of governance, developing innovative projects, using modern methods and techniques of HR.
Possible employment options: professional services, business, joint ventures, representative offices of foreign firms, consulting.

Industrial Management
The purpose of the master's program is to train professionals who understand the nature of strategic competitiveness and can develop the ability to analyze the competitive environment. isolate potential sources of competitive advantage and disadvantage, develop business level strategies by defining the type of advantage sought, scope of operations and activities required to deliver the chosen strategy.
The department has more than 20 employees. The department collaborates with universities from Germany, Finland, Italy, and others. The learning process involves foreign experts. Classes are held in both Russian and English languages.
Department of the Territorial Economics conducts round tables, invites siness leaders and representatives of federal and regional authorities for master classes and public lectures.
