Chair of Psychology

Head of the chair: Ldokova Galiya Mikhailovna, Ph.D., Associate professor

The Chair of Psychology, as an independent structural unit, began to function in 1989 (order No. 88d of September 5, 1989). For 30 years, the department has been conducting high-quality psychological and pedagogical training for future teachers, and since 2001, teacher-psychologists for educational institutions of the Russian Federation.

The    Chair is training students in the direction of training 44.03.02 Psychological and pedagogical education (profile: Psychology of education).

Since its inception, the Department of Psychology has been led by wonderful organizers: Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor A.I. Fukin (1990-1991); Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor V.V. Ovsyannikova (1991-1993); Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor D.S. Yagafarova (1993-1996); Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor F.G. Mukhametzyanova (1996-2003), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor A.N. Panfilov (2003-2004). Since 2004, the department has been headed by a candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor G.M. Ldokova.

All the activities of the Chair of Psychology are based on a scientifically grounded concept of improving the psychological training of teachers and teacher-psychologists in accordance with the uptodate strategy of modernizing pedagogical education.
