Presidium of Russian Psychological Society Convened at Kazan University
The event was held on October 5th as a part of ROPRYAL Congress.
Co-presiding were Rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov and Chairman of the Presidium of the RSS, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of MSU Yury Zinchenko.
Dr. Gafurov spoke about recent developments at the University, including those in psychology and pedagogy. He invited those in the audience to hold joint research with KFU and offered the Unviersity as the venue for the next congress of the RSS.
Dr. Zinchenko expressed interest in cooperating with KFU in medical and clinical psychology, mutual publication reviews, and promoting Kazanites in relevant Russian journals in Scopus. He also mentioned the scientific merits of Dr. Leonid Popov (Chair of the Department of Psychology of Personality of KFU) and Dr. Alexander Prokhorov (Chair of the Department of General Psychology of KFU). The sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between RSS and KFU during the next presidium meeting.
