Professor Reima Al-Jarf, of King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, teaches English and Arabic as a foreign language and Saudi culture to Kazan Federal University (KFU) graduate and undergraduate students, foreign language teaching methods to prospective English language teachers, and supervises a joint research project with KFU faculty. She shares her knowledge and expertise in research, teaching English and Arabic in different countries.
Visiting scholar Prof. Al-Jarf is a graduate of the University of Iowa, USA, is an international consultant, researcher, presenter, reviewer and inspiring teacher. She has taught EFL, ESP and Translation courses to graduate and undergraduate students in Saudi Arabia for 26 years and won three Excellence in Teaching Awards and the Best Faculty Website Award over 6000 faculty members.
Prof. Al-Jarf has 250 publications, some of which were award-winning, and some were published in ISI journals. Her publications have been cited 789 times on Google scholar, have received 57,066 reads on Researchgate and 27,360 total views (top .5%) on Academia.
She has given 350 conference presentations and conducted 50 workshops in 70 countries. She was a keynote and invited speaker at conferences in France, Korea, Indonesia, Iran, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia. Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
