Results of a joint project KFU - Tasma - 218 were successfully tested at the Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials.
Goal of a Tasma - 218 project was to develop a new and more efficient technology for production of aerospace photographic layer emulsions and radiographic films. This technology should ensure the competitiveness of domestic products on the global market by reducing the cost and improving photo properties in comparison with foreign leading brand Agfa and Kodak.
Project group supervised by KFU faculty from the Institute of Physics; Yu. Zakharov , S. Nikitin, and KFU Institute of Chemistry Yu. Shtyrlin, as well as Tasma director E. Samkov and chief engineer V. Andrianov was able to find the decision. In 2013 the enterprise modernized a production line according to new technology and there was manufactured a production batch of films. It underwent comparative tests at the Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials (Moscow).
Current Tasma production progress attracts the attention of customers from various ministries and departments, which set new high-tech challenges. Strong partnership with KFU is a good base for their joint decision.
