The III International Student Forum, organized by Rossotrudnichestvo within the framework of the “cross-year” of Russia in Germany and Germany in Russia, was held in Berlin from October 03 to October 06, 2012.
All the events were arranged on the basis of Berlin universities – the University named after Humboldt, Technical University, the University of Arts, as well as the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Berlin. Students, post-graduate students, teachers and executives from more than 60 leading higher education institutions of Russia and Germany took part in the Forum.
Kazan Federal University was worthily represented at the Forum by Alexandra Dyugurova, a fourth-year student of the Institute of Management and Territorial Development, Olga Dizhonova, a fourth-year student of the Institute of Economics and Finance, and Diana Khadeyeva, a third-year student of the Institute of Philology and Arts. Their participation in the Forum was organized by the External Relations Office of KFU.
According to the Kazan students, the Forum agenda was informative and interesting: eleven Forum sections, “round tables” and discussion clubs working during the Forum were devoted to the most urgent issues concerning international co-operation, economic growth of the two countries, student exchange between Russia and Germany, joint research organizing. Furthermore, the girls went sightseeing around Berlin and had fun at the Students Feast in one of the clubs.
