November 7 – Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies was visited by the delegation of Venezuela headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to Russia Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba.
The mission of the visit to Tatarstan in general was to discuss issues of cooperation between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic in the field of education, mechanical and aircraft engineering.
The first part of the meeting included a lecture by Hoglys Martinez Nunez on the modern geopolitics of Latin America, development of oil industry and related political problems. The second part was held as a question – answer session when the guests were asked questions about relations between Venezuela and Spain, Venezuela and USA, and cooperation of Russian Federation and Venezuela.
Vice rector Linar Latypov commented on the activities of the Institute of Petroleum Technologies at KFU and suggested finding areas of mutual interest.
