After graduating from KSU in 1970 he worked as a senior engineer of the laboratory of nuclear physics at KSU, since 1975 an assistant and in 1982 assistant professor of the theory of relativity and gravity of the Physics Department at KSU. From 1985 to 2011 - head of the department of geometry KGPI, chair of geometry and mathematical modeling TSHPU. From 2011 to 08/31/2018 (resigned of his own accord) - head of the department of higher mathematics and mathematical modeling of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics N.I. Lobachevsky. In fact, master's and doctoral reserved for specialty 'Theoretical and Mathematical Physics', which after 90 years has been divided by 2 specialty title of associate professor received in the department 'Theory of Relativity and Gravitation', the title of professor - in the department of 'Geometry'.
