Within the framework of the RS "Perspective Orientation, Navigation, and Communication Systems", nine students of the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of the KFU take part in a joint project of KFU and PJSC "KAMAZ" to develop autonomous autopilot vehicles.
A group of students carried out an analysis of the existing solutions for the implementation of the Autobot functions from the companies Cognitiv, Vist, AKKA, Knorr, Wabco and ZF TRW, which resulted in: a functional list for the ADAS system developed and an autonomous vehicle.
It was revealed which functional components will be developed at the stages for the prototype, pilot and pre-series sample; It is determined which functions are implemented for the developed autonomous vehicle by the companies ZF TRW and Wabco.
The students involved tested and tested the DART, ODE, Gazebo physical modeling software for further use in the project.
