When should you come to Elabuga?
We expect you to arrive in Elabuga before the start of the academic year/semester.
Before coming to Elabuga you should register and fill the application in social and educational network "Budu Studentom!" https://abiturient.kpfu.ru
1) Fill the information about yourself in the sections "questionnaire", "address", "schools", "additional information":

3) Apply (choose the course) (from June 20).

Where should you apply and what documents should you submit?
Upon arrival in Elabuga, you need to contact the Department of Organizing the Admission of Applicants and Work with Foreign Students: Elabuga Institute of KFU, st. Kazanskaya, 89, Elabuga, 423600, room 16.
Working hours: Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm; break from 12:00 to 13:00.
Living costs in Elabuga:
After enrolling in the university, you can proceed with the procedure of settling into a dormitory.
The procedure for settling in the dormitories of the Elabuga Institute
The cost of living in a dormitory in the 2020-2021 academic year:
Dormitory №1 and №2 - from 280 rubles per month.
Dormitory №3 and №4 - from 460 rubles per month
Medical insurance. In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, medical care for foreign citizens temporarily staying in the Russian Federation is provided in accordance with a voluntary medical insurance contract, so you will have to purchase a medical insurance policy annually. Its cost is from 4,200 rubles for 1 year. The purchase of an insurance policy is the responsibility of a foreign citizen.
Expenses for the recognition of foreign education: If necessary, a foreign student bears the costs of passing the procedure for recognizing a foreign education or qualification. In KFU, this procedure costs 3,100 rubles. Check with the staff of the Department of Organizing the Admission of Applicants and Work with Foreign Students whether your documents on education need to go through this procedure.
Your other additional costs:
The fare in public transport (bus) is 18 rubles for 1 trip. A full meal in the student canteen of the Elabuga Institute costs about 100 rubles. According to students, monthly expenses for food, transportation, mobile communications, etc. in Elabuga can be 12,000-15,000 rubles.
