Typology, biodiversity and assessment of the state of cave water objects of the Republic of Abkhazia
The plenary report reflects information about the number of known caves in the Republic of Abkhazia, typification of water bodies in caves is carried out, species of zooplankton and zoobenthos organisms characteristic of these caves, including relict species, are shown.

The report addresses issues of the total number and typology of water bodies (lakes and rivers) of the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as issues of biological diversity of water bodies by phytoplankton, zooplankton, zoobenthos and ichthyofauna communities.
