Scientific interests 

The field of research is comparative-historical, typological and contrastive linguistics, teaching Foreign Languages (German) at high school, translation of nouns, comparative studies of German, English and Russian Languages, aapied linguistics. T. K. Ivanova explores in her theoretical and methodological framework “The comparative study of word-formation system of the Russian and German languages” the main directions of the evolution of compound nouns in Russian and German. The study is based on the onomasiological approach, which makes possible to identify the derivational types of composites and their prevalence in these languages. The second area of scientific interests is the linguistic features of the text of the media sphere, the relationship of its lexical and semantic features with the encoding of information and the functions performed by the text.
