Development of Master's degree program in European and International Law:
«European and International Law in Eastern Europe»

In December 2013 Kazan Federal University participated in the launch of Tempus Project by European Commission to develop a master's degree program «European and International Law in Eastern Europe» (InterEULawEast).
The Project of European Commission is implemented by the Consortium of EU universities including the University of Zagreb, Croatia, the University of Maribor, Slovenia, Riga Higher School of Higher Technologies, Latvia); Russian universities (Kazan Federal University, Voronezh State University, Tyumen State University) and Ukrainian universities (Odessa Law Academy, Donetsk National University, Taurida National V.I.Vernadsky University). The consortium coordinator is the University of Zagreb.
The Consortium has a strong potential owing to the presence of internationally-recognized scholars in International and European Law: Russian professors Pavel Biriukov, Sergei Marochkin, Adel Abdullin, professor from Odessa law Academy Mycola Pashkovskyi, Professor from the University of Zagreb Hanna Horak, professor from the University of Maribora Rajko Knez, as well as the European experts: professor Peter van Elsuwege (Ghent University, Belgium) and professor Pierre Tifine (University of Lorraine, France).
