Cooperation with Belarus

Nowadays KFU cooperates with Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. Agreement on scientific and methodological cooperation, signed by the Institute of Philology and Arts (TGGPU) in October 2009 for 4 years, includes conducting joint research and scientific conferences, exchange of teachers and staff of both sides for conducting research works, as well as for reading lectures and reports. The responsible person for realization of the agreement is the professor of the Institute of Philology and Arts Dr. Farida Salitova.

Among the events aimed at strengthening cooperation with Belarus, we can mention the public address of Doctor of Law, Professor, Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1998-2000, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Ural Latypov, who delivered a lecture on Russian-Belarus relations to a wide range of listeners in April 2011.
