Cooperation with Oman
In October 2017, KFU and Sultan Qaboos University agreed to develop projects in enhanced oil extraction with Petroleum Development Oman and Occidental Petroleum. A special focus is on steam-assisted gravity drainage and biosurfactants.
The sides agreed to continue their talks on deposit sites in Oman.
