Programs
The unit offers Bachelor degree program with majors in Biology. The Department also offers two Master degree programs in Biology with concentrations in Human, Animal Physiology and Neurobiology (passed the international accreditation). Doctoral studies are also available.
Career prospects
Qualification of the graduates enables them to pursue further training and to work in leading Russian and international research centers, such as Kazan Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), I.P. Pavlov Institute of Physiology (St. Petersburg), Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of RAS (Moscow), N.K. Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of RAS (Moscow), and other universities and hospitals.
Widespread network of international contacts enables students and graduates of the Department to carry out their research investigations in international research centers such as Mediterranean Institute of Neurobiology (France), University of Salzburg (Austria), J.Liebig University of Giessen (Germany), École normale supérieure (France), University of Helsinki (Finland) and others.
