Cooperation with Turkey

Main KFU partners in Turkish Republic are Yeditepe University and Istanbul University. With the first one cooperation agreement is in force since 2008, within its frames Kazan and Turkish biologists actively cooperate. Istanbul University is a relatively new partner of KFU, an agreement on academic cooperation with it was signed in September 2011. In addition to the above-mentioned universities as part of their research and educational projects, KFU scholars interact with the colleagues from Turkish National Observatory TUBITAK, Gebze University, the University of Canakkale, Turkish Linguistic Society Turk DilKurumu.

Turkey takes the second place by the number of KFU staff and students who go abroad with research and educational purposes: in 2011, 51 persons from Kazan University were sent to the Turkish universities and organizations.

In 2011/2012 academic year, 38 students and trainees from this country are studying at KFU.
