Cooperation with Tajikistan

Cooperation of KFU with Tajikistan nowadays is developing in the framework of training Tajikistan citizens at Kazan Federal University.

In 2011/12 academic year, 58 citizens of this State are studying at KFU, including two post graduate students, 19 bachelors and 38 specialists. The vast majority of this number (53, including all bachelors and graduates) came by the referral of the Russian Federation Ministry of Education to study at the expense of the federal budget funds, in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation of 25.08.2008 № 638. Two students are studying on the contract basis and pay all fees, and three more are enrolled on the common basis with equal rights alongside with the citizens of Russia.

The positive dynamics of students from Tajikistan remains constant during the last 5 years: during this period, their number has consistently increased from 7 students per year in 2007, till 14 in 2008, 23 in 2009, 39 in 2010 till today's figures.
