Cooperation with Singapore

Cooperation of KFU with educational institutions in Singapore was possible primarily due to the interaction of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Singapore. Starting from first contacts in 2006, economic, political and cultural partnership between two republics has evolved significantly.

In March 2012 the delegation of the University of Kazan headed by the rector Ilshat Gafurov visited Singapore. Meetings were held with representatives of Educare Co-operative Limited – Singapore's teachers union, providing services to enhance the professional development of teachers. In the College of Civil Service Memorandum of Understanding was signed, involving the holding of joint courses and seminars, as well as joint visits, exchange of experiences, organization of training programs and joint participation in research activities.
