Cooperation with Lithuania

Cooperation of KFU with Lithuania nowadays is developing mainly in the framework of training Lithuania citizens at Kazan Federal University. In 2011/2012 academic year by the referral of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation two compatriots from Lithuania enrolled to the basic education programs at the expense of Federal budget funds in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation from 25.08.2008 № 638.

2005 saw signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Faculty of Biology and Soil of Kazan University and the Institute for Coastal Research, University of Klaipeda, which by now has lost its motivating impulse.
