Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Primary KFU partner organization in Kyrgyzstan is Kyrgyz State Law Academy under the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek. December 2011 saw signing of the Memorandum of Understanding which enables scientific cooperation in the field of jurisprudence. Contact person responsible for this cooperation is Dr. Ilsur Salikhov, Deputy Dean of the Law Faculty.

In 2011/2012 academic year 69 students from Kyrgyz Republic are studying at KFU. The vast majority (67) is enrolled by the referral of the Russian Federation Ministry of Education at the expense of the federal budget funds, in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation of 25.08.2008 № 638, one student is on the contract basis and another one is on a common basis with equal rights alongside with Russian citizens.
