Cooperation with Kazakhstan

Cooperation of KFU with the Republic of Kazakhstan has been actively developing in recent years. Agreements with M.Auezov South-Kazakhstan State University and M.Utemisov West-Kazakhstan State University have been signed and are in force. KFU scientists and faculty are actively cooperating with the Turkic Academy in Astana and Almaty University within historical and cultural research projects.

In the last decade the number of Kazakh students in KFU has been steadily increasing: in 2011/12 academic year the number is 91 – it is second figure among all foreign students in KFU.
