Double-Degree Master`s Programme

A two-year Master`s degree Programme “Stratigraphy” is for those who is looking to fast-track professional geological employment or to continue on to dissertation research after graduation. Master`s courses include a major cutting-edge independent research project on a topic chosen by student, giving the opportunity to work with specialist analytical facilities, learn the skills required to succeed in a research environment and potentially see the research work published in a peer-reviewed journal. Master`s students take their courses both at Kazan Federal University and at TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany). This is a unique Double-Degree Programme which offers to spend a semester abroad.
