Department of Romanic and Germanic languages and International Communication

Head of department - Venera Nafikovna Khisamova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor, Merited School Teacher of Tatarstan Republic.

Department of the Romanic and Germanic languages and International communications was founded on the on the basis of the Department of Theory and practice of English of the former Tatar State Institute of the Humanities and Education in 2011, which in due time was established on the basis of the department of English Language of the Tatar State Humanitarian Institute in September 2005. The mission of the department is to train highly qualified professionals of English in the fiels of International Relations.

Scientific potential of the Department: Educators have international certificates such as TOEFL, IELTS, BEC, ��, Unified State Exam in English and can train for these exams.

Language training: Every year educators undergo language training in the prestigious Universities of the USA and England.

The key objectives of the Department:

Training high qualified professionals in the field of Oriental Studies;
Training educators who know several foreign languages;
Educating new generation of well-educated citizens of Russia and Tatarstan Republic, who realize age-old close relations of the culture of Tatarstan Republic with the world culture, especially with Orientalism.

Study area of the department is Typology, contrastive-comparative linguistics of English to Tatar, Russian and other languages in the structural, functional, stylistic and semantic aspects; as well as teaching methods of structurally different languages. Practice and Theory of Translation.
