Dr. Elena Tutubalina, Ph.D. is a sen. researcher at Kazan Federal University (KFU). In 2016, she completed her Ph.D. studies at the Higher Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems, KFU. Dr. Tutubalina has 78 publications indexed in Scopus, including publications in Q1 journals and at such conferences as ACL, EMNLP, WSDM, AAAI, and COLING. Dr. Tutubalina serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Biomedical Informatics Board, and a reviewer for leading journals and several leading conferences (AAAI, ACL, etc.). She serves as PI of several scientific projects funded by science foundations (RSF, RFBR). She has co-organized several shared tasks, including: (i) SMM4H 2020 and 2021 shared tasks on detection of adverse drug reactions in tweets; (ii) a nested named entity recognition (NER) shared task RuNNE 2022, which was held as part of the Dialogue 2022 conference; (iii) an artificial text detection task RuATD 2022 (Dialogue 2022); (iv) AI Journey 2021 Challenge on multimodal architectures; (v) a text simplification shared task RuSimpleSentEval 2021 (Dialogue 2021); (vi) a task on NER and relation extraction from e-government domain RuREBus 2020 (Dialogue 2020); (vii) an sentiment analysis shared task SentiRuEval 2015 (Dialogue 2015).
