About Institute

The global network of Confucius Institute (孔子 学院) is a network of international cultural and educational centres set up by Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban, 国家汉办, Beijing, China) in cooperation with foreign centers of sinology studies. In addition to "institutes" there are "Confucius classes". Some institutions have a specialization, such as Business Confucius Institute in Athens, London Confucius Institute of Chinese Medicine.
