This article explores the poetry of the world-famous Tatar poet Dardmend. It emphasizes the mastery of the poet’s pen, his philosophical, semantic depth and individual style. The way he creates unique motifs of hishomeland, native land, people, nation and tribe is of particular interest to us. The author's poetic world is seen in the context of literary and cultural ties andwe find a typological similarity in Eastern and Western literatures. The example of Dardmend’s unique poetryshows that the descriptions of an individual’s external and internal worlds in the way of disclosing man's relationship with the surrounding reality in the Tatar literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was simultaneous with the development of the various literary and aesthetic systems of those times.
