Tutorial on chemical database creation and manipulation
Tutorial will be based on ChemAxon's InstantJChem Software.
Description of Software (should be installed in advance!):
Software should be downloaded from the ChemAxon web-site. For the Tutorial you will need:
- InstantJChem (can be downloaded from here)
- Marvin Beans (can be downloaded from here)
The best choice for you will be Windows/Linux/OS X (32 bit) Installer with Java included. Personally I do not recommend you to install 64 bit version.
Only registered users can download packages from ChemAxon site, if you haven't got an account yet, please register. You will be prompted to login during the download process. You also have to get Evaluation license. If you already used Evaluation and therefore can't have the new one please contact Scientific Secretary.
