The article studies contemporary migration processes in the Republic of Tatarstan. It focuses on the study of life values of schoolchildren from migrant families. The comparative analysis of the structure of values and axiological motivations of children from migrant families and children of the indigenous population living in the Republic of Tatarstan, demonstrates that the results are similar in many respects. Thus, in both groups of children the value items on the level of normative ideals /the value-goals of “kindness”, “independence”, “health”, “happy family life”, “possession of true friends”, on the level of behaviour / the value-tools of “good manners”, “vitality”, “honesty”, “education” and “stimulation” hold the top places in the rankings. In both groups, the research into the character of interactions of the studied parameters revealed common system-forming parameters with the sufficient weight in the matrix structure of inter-correlations: “honesty”, “independence” and “sensitivity”. Thus, our empirical study of life values of migrant children allows us to state that the level of their adaptive residence capacity is quite favorable.
Key words: migrant children, structure of life values, value system of motivation.
