THE TATAR COMPONENT IN RUSSIAN LITERATURE OF THE 20th CENTURY

The article explores the ways in which the Tatar component functions in Russian literature of the twentieth century, reveals the nature of its development along with different aspects of imaginative presentation, and identifies the ways of symbolizing and stereotyping. It analyzes the uniqueness of the Tatar component implementation in different artistic paradigms. The article reveals thepeculiarities of Kazan locus symbols as a means of representation of the Tatar component. It investigates the diversity of functional orientation of the Tatar component in the twentieth century Russian literature.
