Dear readers!
The decision to publish the journal, the first issue of which is in your hands, was adopted by the Board of Trustees of Kazan Federal University, chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnihanov. The aim of our trustees and the university community in the Humanities has been to create an international scientific publication, which meets international standards and reflects the most important research findings of domestic and foreign experts in the field of Tatar studies on its pages.
The development of Kazan, Kazan Federal University into a leading research and publishing center of Turkic-Tatar worldwill enhance the international authority of our Federal University and lead to successful implementation of the program, aiming to improve the competitiveness of KFU among the world's scientific and educational centers.
It is noteworthy, that the Tatarica Journal starts in the year, which has been declared the Year of 210th Anniversary of the University of Kazan, for the representatives of the Tatar people, including such prominent educators and public figures as Shigabutdin Marjani, Qayyum Nasyri, Ibrahim Khalfin and many others, made worthy contributions to the development of the Humanities and social thought at the University and in our region .
I am sure that the Tatarica Journal will achieve its intended goals. We base our aspirations on powerful scientific and pedagogical potential of Kazan Federal University, the commitment of our humanitarians to the common cause of our Alma Mater dynamic development, which will make it one of the most important institutions of higher education in the world.
