Considerations of I.A. Rakhimullin

When a student everyone tries his best in almost every field. Moreover, when selecting for Tatar National Chorus so many students appear to have a good voice and talent for music, it would be a sin not to give opportunity to develop them.

It goes without saying, that the first experience of singing in several voices is not easy at all. Especially when you are on the stage in front of the audience with your knees trembling. It is more difficult for Tatar people, because the art of singing in Chorus is not historically usual to them. But after the first concert when it appears successful young performers become inspired and attracted by it.

Then they start performing in organ and symphonic concerts, in Tatar State song and dance ensemble performances, in The Kamal dramatic theatre, in the theatre of opera and ballet etc. Thinking level of the students becomes wider. They stop wasting time doing useless things; they begin aspiring to search deeper and rise higher.

These students who live singing become such personalities as poets, singers, radio and television workers, papers and magazines editors, managers of education departments, managers of State Farms and milk factories etc. They bring big sums of money to amateur talent activities; Kazan State University has never even dreamt of that money. Some of those students become very good village teachers. They are still interested in amateur arts and occupied with it; they teach their pupils this way. There are many university professors, candidates and doctors of Philosophy among those boys and girls who studied in our Chorus.

Of course members of our Chorus will not become drug addicts or gangsters. Our main aim is to educate harmonious and intellectual personalities.
