‘We fall in love by chance
We stay in love by choice’
Students of the Institute of Physics celebrated St. Valentine’s Day. Their acquaintance with this holiday began with the task to rhyme words which are associated with the festival.
Then they watched a short video about this Day. After learning the history of the holiday there was a competition between boys and girls where the boys broke all stereotypes about students-physicists to be focused on studies only and as a result, they impressed the girls by their compliments and the girls responded them with various ideas of "I love you".
They went on making out as many words as they could from "Happy Valentine’s Day", surprised their teacher and the jury by the number of words they managed to make.
Besides, the students learnt some idioms about love and relationships, discussed such vital questions as ‘What is more important appearance or character?’ ‘Do you believe in love at first sight?’ ‘What is the best age to start dating and get married?’ ‘Is getting married giving up freedom?’ ‘What are the pros and cons of getting married?’ ‘Can a single person be as happy as a married person?’ and others, got to know some useful information about languages of love.
It is out of the question that the celebration finished with one of the romantic songs about love.
